On 12 November we are organising the closing talk of the cycle “Collapse is not apocalypse” with Carlos Taibo at Can Batlló (Barcelona).
During the cycle we wanted to address the different dimensions of collapse, from the analysis of the concept, to coping strategies and technical evidence, to a more emotional part of how we deal with its consequences. We have done this through talks and a reading group around the book “Collapse. Terminal capitalism, ecosocial transition and ecofascism”, by Carlos Taibo.
In this closing talk, we want to open a dialogue to address the current evidence of the collapse we are already experiencing and the paths towards a just degrowth. In addition to Carlos Taibo’s talk, we will have the presentation of the campaign “Futurs (im)possibles”, and a surprise action afterwards framed in a day of international mobilisation for the climate.
